Coastkeeper is working to restore eelgrass in Upper Newport Bay. Eelgrass beds are important habitat for lobsters, halibut, oysters and other marine species. Mandatory Training Date: June 28, 2014 from 1pm – 3pm.
Restoration Dates: July 11-14 and 18-21. Morning Team: 9am – 12:30pm; Afternoon Team: 1pm – 4:30pm.
You can volunteer for one or more time sessions.
