Growing Strawberries Year Round in Orange County

The Coastkeeper Garden will share the secrets of successful strawberry growing at its workshop on March 3rd. Orange County's Strawberry Expert Julie Bawden-Davis will demonstrate how to choose, plant and care for this delicious crop!

Southern California's mild climate is ideal for strawberry growing, and they are perfect for pots and small spaces such as balconies or porches. 

Learn the secrets to organic mouth-watering strawberries from the woman who literally wrote the book— Julie Bawden-Davis, the author of, “The Strawberry Story: How to Grow Great Berries Year-Round in Southern California.”  

Strawberry plants will be available for purchase along with Julie's own special fertilizer.
