Support the Coastkeeper Garden to Celebrate our 20th Birthday!
Established in 2012, the garden was built to show, rather than tell, how a sustainable, low-water landscape can benefit our region’s water resources. Our busiest time of year is spring, where we see an influx of school field trips, gardening groups, and Orange County families exploring the garden. We need your help to prepare for this traffic.
In celebration of twenty years as an organization, we are asking for $2,000 every week for three weeks. Think of it as a birthday gift. Here is how your donation will make an impact:
$20 -- One bag of gravel to revamp our walkways
$100 -- New gardening tools and gloves for three volunteers
$200 -- The field trip costs of ten students
$500 -- Update our pollinator garden with additional forage for bees and butterflies
$2,000 -- Full renovation cost for our pergola
Your Donation will be Doubled
One of our board members has pledged to match dollar-for-dollar the first $2,500 donated. Combined with our $6,000 donation goal, the garden would receive $8,500 in total funds.
